History of US Shipments

The “History of US Shipments” is based on actual information supplied to the I.T.A. by the Association’s members. The chart below reveals shipments in the United States for Electric Rider Trucks (Class 1 and Class 2 combined), Motorized Hand Trucks (Class 3) and Internal Combustion Powered Trucks (Class 4 and Class 5 combined) since 1983. Numbers are not necessarily comparable since Membership changes occurred. Nonetheless, these figures give an accurate description of market activity.

Outlook for the World

The “Outlook for the World” consists of presentations made by the Presidents of the Industrial Truck Association, the Federation of European Material Handling Manufacturers, and the Japan Industrial Vehicles Association during the President's Forum conducted during ITA’s annual meeting which is held in the Fall of each year. The opinions expressed by the participants are not necessarily those of their employers or their respective associations.
